There is a credit card in the craft drawer with wax on one edge, and a ruler borrowed out of a school pencil case. That is the alignment kit most of us are actually working with.
Three pieces, each with one job. The horizontal ruler keeps a row running true across the canvas so a drift at one edge does not compound by the time you reach the far side. The right-angle ruler squares corners and edges, which matters most on large canvases where there is plenty of straight line for the eye to judge against. The slide straightener presses finished sections flat, seating the drills into the adhesive for better hold and a cleaner surface in photographs. I print all three in my studio in silk PLA, in six metallic colors.
Why silk. A matte print comes off the plate with a fine tooth to it, and that tooth is the last thing you want on the face of a straightener, where it catches on the edges of the drills instead of gliding over them. Silk PLA prints slick. It also carries a real metallic sheen, which sounds purely cosmetic until you set a tool down on a half-finished canvas and try to find it again. Gunmetal or rose gold reads against a field of drills. Clear plastic does not.

Straight talk. These are tools only. No kit, no drills, no canvas, no pen or tray. They are printed plastic, not machined instruments, so treat them as guides rather than precision gear. The rulers help you place drills straight, they will not rescue a row that is already set crooked, and the straightener improves adhesion and finish but cannot close a gap. PLA softens in heat, so keep the set off a sunny windowsill, out of a parked car, and away from a heat gun if you use one on your canvas. These are printed a batch at a time and no two come out identical, so shade can shift a little between orders.
The credit card can go back in your wallet.
