Drill Pen Station

Four resin pens, one tin of wax, and a table that keeps mislaying all five. Pens roll. Wax wanders. The one you set down thirty seconds ago is somewhere under the canvas.

This drill pen holder is one solid station: four upright sockets and a round well. The pens stand tip-up, so the waxed point never touches the surface, and the wax stays put instead of migrating mid-session. The front carries a raised MD mark, the way a maker signs a piece.

The sockets are why it works. At 16.5 mm across and 39 mm deep, countersunk at the mouth, each meets the mid-barrel bulge of a standard resin drill pen and holds it straight on wall contact. A loose cup of the same depth just lets four pens lean into each other.

Straight talk

Four sockets is four: if you own eleven pens, it holds the ones in play, not the collection. It is PLA, so a hot car or a sunny sill will cost you the shape. Drill pens and drills are not included, and the wax is a refill, not a lifetime supply.

Everything ends up where you left it, tips up, and nothing is under the canvas.
