Halloween Bookmark Set of 7

Right now your place in the book is being held by a receipt, a hair tie, or the dust jacket flap bent back until it creased. October is a fine month to fix that.

Seven page clips, printed to order: a jack-o'-lantern in orange, a black cat mid-arch, a white ghost, a lavender bat, a gray skull, Frankenstein's monster in olive green, and a maroon red maple leaf. Each one is OpenSCAD designed and printed in matte PLA with a slim clip cut straight into the shape, so it slides over the page and grips without creasing or curling the paper. The cut-out eyes, grins and details let a little light through when one is clipped near a lamp.

Seven is the useful number. You are probably part way through three books at once, which means three of these are working and the other four are gifts, or a shelf of paperbacks wearing hats.

Straight talk

Not a toy. The clip is a small mechanism, so keep the set away from young children. Measurements are approximate, and because every set is printed one at a time, no two come out quite identical. The clip is sized for a page or a small stack of them, not for gripping half the book at once.

The receipt can go back to being a receipt.
